You can always request everyday cars at everyday prices. But sometimes you need a bit more space. Or you want to go big on style. With MooN Car, the choice is yours.
Choose your ride and set your location. You see your drivers picture and vehicle details, and can track their arrival on the map.
When you arrive at your destination, either pay with cash or have your card automatically charged. With MooN Car, the choice is yours.
Rate your driver and provide anonymous feedback about your trip. Your input helps us make every ride a 5-star experience.
When you are ready to go, set your pickup location and tap Request. If you want to know about how much your trip will cost, tap Fare Estimate.
Once you enter the address or name of your destination, you will see the route your driver will take as well as your ETA. No need to give directions.
Before your driver arrives, you will see their name, photo, car make and model, and license plate number so you know you are hopping in the right car.
If you want friends and family to follow your route and know when to expect you, you can send a text message through the app with a link to your trip.

How to Use

  • Booking a Cab

    Please turn ON your phone's location services to make a booking.
    When you open the app, you'll be shown cabs that are near your location.
    Select a cab type and select RIDE NOW. Tap CONFIRM to make your booking.
    You will get a booking confirmation on your screen. You can see your ride details as you track your ride. These details will also be sent through an SMS at your registered mobile number.

    Please turn ON your phone's location services to make a booking.
    When you open the app, you'll be shown cabs that are near your location.
    Select a cab type and select RIDE LATER. Select your pickup date and time.
    Tap CONFIRM to make your booking.
    You will get a booking confirmation on your screen. Ride details will be sent to you through an SMS at your registered mobile number 15 minutes before your pickup time. You can also see these details as you track your ride

  • Providing a pickup address

    Please make sure your phone location services are turned ON. This lets the app automatically select your current location as the pickup address.
    You can see your location on the map and the pickup address on the top.
    You can also select your pickup address by doing either of the below:
    - Enter your location in the search bar on top of the map.
    - Move the map to the location where you want to be picked up.
    (You can save a pickup address as your favourite by tapping the icon beside the address.)
    Please note that you will not be able to change your pickup address once your booking is confirmed.

  • Paying for a ride

    You will see a ride summary on drivers app and your MooN Car app after completing your trip. You will also get the bill amount through an SMS.
    - If you have Paytm Wallet, the bill amount will be automatically deducted.
    - If your Paytm Wallet is insufficient, you can pay the remaining amount in cash.
    - If you do not have Paytm Wallet, you can pay the total amount in cash to your driver.
    You will also receive an invoice with detailed fare breakdown at your registered email address.

    You will be able to track your cab after your booking is confirmed. You can see your cabs location on the map and also the time your driver will take to pick you up.

    You can also track your cab from My Rides section in your app menu.
    Select your ride from Upcoming tab and tap Track Ride option below.

  • Service Boundaries

    You can travel anywhere within your city's limits by booking a MooN Car ride.
    However, you cannot use MooN Car to travel outside the city limits or for outstation travel.

  • Canceling a ride

    You can always cancel your MooN Car ride before your trip starts. If you wish to cancel your MooN Car ride, all you need to do is:
    - Tap the Cancel Ride button on your Track Ride screen.
    - Select a reason why you would like to cancel (changed your mind, booked another cab, driver denied duty, driver late, etc.). This will help us take necessary action if we are at fault.
    - Tap SUBMIT.
    - You will receive a booking cancellation SMS and email.
    You can also cancel a booking from My Rides section in your app menu. Choose your booking from Upcoming tab and tap CANCEL.
    You may be charged a cancellation fee if you request for trip cancellation five minutes or later after a driver accepts the booking. The fee charged may differ depending on the category selected and city of booking.

    You can always cancel your MooN Car ride before your trip starts. If you wish to cancel your MooN Car ride, all you need to do is:

  • Entering a drop location

    Once your booking is confirmed, you can choose to enter your drop location. Your drop location will be shared with your driver once the trip starts. This will help your driver to navigate to that location and save you from the hassle of giving directions.
    All you need to do is to enter your drop location in the search box provided on the screen.
    Note:- During the trip, at any time, you can choose to change the drop location and your driver will be informed.

    Once your booking is confirmed, you can choose to enter your drop location. Your drop location will be shared with your driver once the trip starts. This will help your driver to navigate to that location and save you from the hassle of giving directions.

  • Getting a ride estimate

    - Select a cab category and tap RIDE NOW.
    - Tap Ride Estimate and enter your drop location.
    - You will see an approximate bill amount along with an approximate travel time to your destination.
    Peak time charge or applicable taxes are not included when calculating ride estimate.

  • Rating a ride

    We ask your feedback every time you complete a trip. You can tell us about your ride experience by giving a rating and providing any additional details that can help us improve your ride experience.
    You can rate your ride during your trip by tapping the Rate Ride option in your Track Ride screen. You can also change this rating after you have completed the trip.

  • Applying a coupon

    When you tap on RIDE NOW or RIDE LATER to make a booking, you will see a Coupons Available option. The number of MooN Car coupons you have is displayed here.
    - Tap Coupons Available and select the coupon you want to use.
    - If you don't see a coupon code but know the code, you can always enter it.
    Tap APPLY to add the coupon to your booking. The discount will be automatically applied to your ride.

  • Cab options

    We have 2 categories of cabs for you to choose from. Your driver will pick you up in a vehicle that belongs to your chosen category.
    MooN O:
    The most popular cab in MooN Car.Seats up to 4 passengers. Cars like Maruti Ritz, Nissan Micra, MarutiWangonR, Datsun Go, Hyndai Eon, TataIndica belong to this category.
    MooN R:
    MooN R category include are 7 seater Cars like Toyota Etios, Hyundai Accent, Tata Indigo, Toyota, xylo, Bolero, Innova, Mobelio are available in this category.

  • Peak Pricing

    Peak pricing might apply on standard fares depending on the time of booking. This is not a fixed charge and varies as per the demand for the cabs.
    Peak pricing is only applied when there is a high demand for cabs. This helps us encourage more drivers to log in to the MooN Car app and be available for bookings. We will always inform you if peak pricing is applicable before you confirm your booking.
    Peak pricing indicator may vary from city to city. Depending on the city, indicator could either be a multiplier or just appear as a range such as low to high peak pricing.
    If as per the peak pricing multiplier, the peak pricing applicable on your booking is 1.2x then your total fare will become 1.2 times the standard fare.
    In the cities where peak pricing is applied in form of a range, you will be informed of the peak pricing range applicable on your ride before you confirm the booking.
    You can always check your revised fare by clicking on the Rate Card before confirming your booking.
